We have been accompanying with special care the evolution of the Portuguese consular services abroad and developed work models capable to build alternatives for its inadequacies.
We are conscious that, before the closing perspectives of many of the Portuguese partitions in the exterior, it falls to the lawyers a decisive paper in the juridical support to millions of dispersed Portuguese for the World.
The fundamental right to the juridical assistance and the representation for lawyer assures to all of the Portuguese citizens the right to have representation next to any distribution of the State, being allowed them in the distance to supply with easiness (and a lot of times with great economy) the difficulties found before the distance or the congestion of the consular partitions.
Looking to the subject through the state side, it results the evidence that an increase of the resource to the lawyers for the practice of actions traditionally processed in the consulates will result in a decongestion of the same ones in the improvement of the assistance to the Portuguese who lives abroad and in an indirect support to the decongestion of the consular machine, there is a lot in the political calendar.
